Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI-Receiving Center

While the emergency department at San Antonio Regional Hospital is adept at handling a wide range of conditions, our emergency department has advanced specialty certifications for the care of patients who are experiencing a stroke or cardiac event. The hospital is designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and as a STEMI Receiving Center for heart attack patients. Each year more than 80,000 patients are treated in our emergency department, and we are one of the busiest paramedic base stations in the Inland Empire. Our recent expansion positions San Antonio Regional Hospital as a premier healthcare provider in the Inland Empire for state-of-the-art emergency services.
