The New World of Biologics:
Opening Doors to Orthopedic Treatments

Biologics, also called regenerative therapies, are one of the newest and most talked about approaches in orthopedic treatments.  Regenerative therapies utilize the patient’s own cells to promote healing and reduce the pain caused by many orthopedic conditions. Anterior Approach to Hip Replacement

Hip replacements are common surgeries for relieving pain and restoring quality of life for those experiencing chronic hip pain.  Many patients are candidates for a newer hip replacement technique called the “anterior approach” which may reduce pain, shorten hospital stays, and speed recovery for patients. Dr. Shah will explain the advantages and disadvantages of the anterior approach to the hip.
