  • Program Features

We know that advancement in the treatment of cancer has resulted from clinical trials; therefore, participation in cancer research is important to us because the development of new and better treatments for all patients depends on clinical research.

A clinical trial program includes surveillance of various types of cancer within the community and educational resources for patients to access national clinical trials. Clinical trials are provided by cooperative research groups that are funded by the National Cancer Institute.
