CPQCC NICU Crown Award

San Antonio Regional Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Receives Crown Award from CPQCC.

San Antonio Regional Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has been honored with a Crown Award from the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC).

The CPQCC is a statewide network comprising California’s NICUs and High-Risk Infant Follow-Up (HRIF) clinics.  Its mission is to improve the quality and equity of care for California's most vulnerable infants and their families.

By collecting data from over 90% of California’s NICU’s, the CPQCC identifies areas of both high and low performance, driving measurable improvements in infant health and well-being across the state.

The Crown Award recognizes NICUs that demonstrate excellence by submitting all required data accurately and on time.  This distinction underscores San Antonio Regional Hospital’s commitment to transparency, quality care, and continuous improvement in neonatal services.
