Internal Medicine Residency Program

Residents
The Internal Medicine Residency Program at San Antonio Regional Hospital is designed to inspire learning, collaboration, and progress in the field of Internal Medicine.

We see our residents as the next wave of physicians—driven, resilient, and committed to leading change rather than just keeping up with it.

If you're a medical student with a progressive mindset, we invite you to explore what our program offers and apply through the appropriate channels through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Our Accreditations

acgme_logo100The San Antonio Regional Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program received initial accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in 2025. We recruited our inaugural PGY-1 class through the 2025 Match. Our residents train at San Antonio Regional Hospital, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
