Briannah Wade, MD

Briannah-Wade-MD

My name is Dr. Briannah Wade. I grew up primarily in the Kansas City metropolitan area and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, where I majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. I then attended American University of Antigua College of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude.

My interest in Internal Medicine stems from the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while helping them navigate complex medical conditions. Throughout my medical education, I have developed a strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care and have come to appreciate the profound impact thoughtful communication and clinical excellence can have on patients and their families.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy swimming, hiking, attending sporting events, watching crime dramas, and spending time with family. These activities help me stay active, maintain balance, and strengthen the relationships that are most important to me.

Looking ahead, I hope to pursue a career as a hospitalist, where I can care for a diverse patient population while continuing to grow as a physician. I am excited to complete my residency training at San Antonio Regional Hospital.
