Dr. Nida Ozarslan earned her medical degree with High Honors from Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. Before starting her residency at San Antonio Regional Hospital, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), conducting translational research focused on infections in pregnancy, placental biology, and maternal-fetal immunology. Her work has resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications, national presentations, and research awards. Dr. Ozarslan is passionate about reproductive health and plans to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a long-term goal of specializing in maternal-fetal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys creating functional ceramic pieces to gift to friends and family and continuing to improve her medical Spanish.
