Neil Shah, MD

Neil U. Shah, MD, received his medical degree from the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University and undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics.

Originally from Placentia, California, he considers it a privilege to train at San Antonio Regional Hospital and values the opportunity to serve and care for the local community that has helped shape him.

Dr. Shah developed a strong interest in internal medicine during his clinical rotations, drawn to the specialty’s breadth, acuity, diagnostic reasoning, commitment to lifelong learning, and collaborative approach. He strives to advocate for patients while growing as both a clinician and a scholar.

He is an avid follower of Los Angeles sports teams and enjoys reading and exploring Southern California.
