Our Team

group of doctorsThrough a special partnership, San Antonio Regional Hospital and the City of Hope use a multidisciplinary team approach to cancer care that focuses on providing comprehensive support. Our goal is to encompass the body, mind, and spirit in the healing of each person with cancer, as well as provide support for the patient's loved ones.

San Antonio's Cancer Center team of dedicated physicians, nurses, technicians, and support personnel recognizes the individuality of the patient and their disease, and works diligently with the patient to provide the best plan of care. This approach offers patients hope, with the latest treatment options, and the emotional support needed to face cancer.

The oncology team at San Antonio Regional Hospital is comprised of dedicated and compassionate individuals who are educated and trained in the specialized care, well-being, and treatment of cancer patients and their families. The nursing care team includes an oncology nurse navigator, registered nurses, and nursing assistants. The oncology nurse navigator is an expert cancer care clinician that assists patients through the continuum of cancer care and treatment in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The nurse navigator serves a key role in bridging the gap between informational and supportive needs. All chemotherapy treatments are administered by registered nurses who are certified by the Oncology Nursing Society as chemotherapy/immunotherapy providers.

San Antonio Regional Hospital’s Cancer Center Team offers exceptional care, support, and guidance every step of the way. Together, we are committed to providing excellence with compassion for our cancer patients and their families.
