
If you are a high school student interested in a career in healthcare, the experience of volunteering at San Antonio Regional Hospital is invaluable. The Junior Volunteer Program allows the opportunity to interact with patients and healthcare staff, providing a rewarding way to learn firsthand how a large medical center operates. To be accepted into the program, you must be a high school student, at least 15 years of age, and beginning the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.

Deadline for Applications: July 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
Scheduling: If accepted as a High School Volunteer, you will be assigned at least one three-hour shift per week (with a maximum of three shifts per week) and must commit to volunteering for a minimum of 100 hours.
