Liliana joined our Surgery Department six months ago as a hard-working, dedicated CNA. She was nominated for the LEAF Award by a fellow care team member after they worked side by side providing compassionate care for a patient who had just undergone an extensive surgery and was experiencing post-operative complications with an ostomy device. Liliana was immediately there to help ensure the patient’s comfort, cleanliness, and dignity throughout the process. Her colleague shared, “While others may shy away from situations like this, Liliana immediately jumped in, took the lead, and provided outstanding support. Having a CNA like Lily is an asset to any unit.” Liliana is committed to continuing her growth in the medical field and advancing her career to create an even better future for herself and her daughter.
