(UPLAND, CA) – January 23, 2024 John Chapman, President & CEO of San Antonio Regional Hospital has been named to the Hospital Association of Southern California’s (HASC) 2024-25 Board of Directors as a Member at Large. Mr. Chapman has also been selected as Chair of HASC’s Inland Empire Area. His two-year term began January 1, 2024 and will continue through December 31, 2025.

He joins a select group of hospital CEO’s from throughout Southern California who remain committed to continually improving their operations and the health of their communities. As hospitals face unprecedented challenges, board leadership will be tasked with developing strategies for hospital members to navigate and effectively address these challenges.

“I look forward to serving our hospital constituents in the Inland Empire and the greater Southern California area,” noted Chapman. “In our current environment, there are a number of financial, workforce, and legislative issues that critically affect healthcare providers. Working collaboratively, we will continue to work toward real solutions that will ultimately improve the care we are able to provide our patients.”

HASC is a non-profit trade association whose mission is to lead, represent, and serve their 180 member hospitals and related organizations, working with members and other stakeholders to provide leadership and representation at the local, state, and federal levels.
