January LEAF Award Recipient
Breanna is a technician in our Pharmacy Department. She joined San Antonio in 2020 and is known for being a great communicator within the department. Her talent was recently on display when our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit received a new Omnicell medication dispensing system and some issues arose upon implementation. Breanna took the initiative to figure out the root cause of the matter and was so helpful in determining solutions. She went above and beyond to assist, showing extreme care for patient safety, medication safety, and made sure everything was corrected. Breanna was the perfect liaison, showing the utmost in patience and understanding. Breanna was a great resource to the NICU nursing team. She is a true team player! Congratulations, Breanna!
