San Antonio Regional Hospital delivers the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, including speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. The team works together to transition patients of all ages from illness or injury to full recovery – it's our goal to help them regain a fulfilling lifestyle.

Rehabilitation services span several San Antonio environments, from inpatient and outpatient services at the hospital to outpatient services at Rancho San Antonio Rehab Center, Sierra San Antonio Rehab Center, and the 901 Rehab Center. Given this, you'll have ample opportunity to evolve your skills and pursue various areas of specialization.

More specifically, our rehabilitation services include:

  • Physical, occupational, and speech therapy for neurological rehabilitation (CVA, MS, Parkinson's disease, etc.)
  • Orthopedic specialty programs, including total joint replacement center
  • Sports rehabilitation with nationally board certified orthopedic clinical specialists
  • Various orthopedic modalities, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapies, movement science, KT taping, soft tissue techniques (IASTM), etc.
  • Wound care using the most current methods of treatment
  • Lymphedema care (to reduce swelling post surgically and/or post mastectomy)
  • Neonatal and developmental pediatric evaluation
  • Industrial program (i.e., pre-work screens, functional capacity evaluations, functional job analysis)

  • Cognitive and swallowing rehabilitation
